I work in retail, and working in retail is not that easy when you are 7 months pregnant. 8 hours a day on your swollen ankles and feet, with the extra weight of a large baby affecting your back legs and feet it’s really rough. I make sure that I go to see a chiropractor in San Diego for some extra help. This keeps me from needing to go see a doctor because the only thing a doctor could do for a person is to give them pain meds or tell them to abstain from all medications when they are pregnant. Since I don’t want to harm my unborn child, I choose to be safe.
My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for over eight years. I went through fertility treatments for the last 3 years, but none of it did any good. My husband was by my side the entire time. He gave me as much emotional support as he could. we never did find out why I was unable to get pregnant for so many years. So we kept trying and had hope. When I finally became pregnant, we were both elated. Continue reading “I Am Looking Forward to the Birth of My Child”
After I had a work injury, my company had the good sense to send me to a chiropractor in Phoenix. I was kind of surprised, frankly. Chiropractors sometimes get a bad rap from the medical profession. I figured my company would send me to the emergency room, pay the bill as required by law, and get me back to work as quickly as possible. Someone in the company is a lot savvier than that. You could so far as to say they actually care about their employees’ physical well being. I’m thankful someone had the foresight.
You see, my injury required treatment coupled with physical therapy after the injury started to heal. It wouldn’t have worked if I’d gone right back to work. Actually, it could have caused a permanent injury if went right back. Continue reading “My Company Knew to Send Me to a Chiropractor”
Think of your back as the trunk of a tree. It supports everything within and without. Your spine is made up of 33 different bones by itself – each bone vulnerable to the pressure and the stresses you’ll be putting through. We live on an average near 72 years. Now imagine 72 years of constant motion. That’s a lot for a back to uphold. It’s incredibly important for everyone to take care of their back as much as possible. If that means you have to visit a chiropractor in Cumming, then do so! There may come a time when our biomedical technology will arrive at a point where we can replace those delicate 33 bones with ease but that’s not now. Continue reading “You Only Have One of Them”
I give full credit to two San Francisco chiropractors for getting me back to work again. One of my coworkers called me and told me that my boss had announced that I had taken entirely too much time off for my alleged back problems, so I knew that I needed to try to figure out what to do. I had long heard that many different types of pain can’t be silenced with different pain bills, but I had never had that happen to me until my back issue. It was so scary to have that happen. It was if I hadn’t taken any medication at all, and I ended up suffering for hours on end. I was sad that my boss didn’t understand, but I also knew that is the way life is sometimes, and I needed to get back to work.
I threw my back out while mowing the lawn. However, I felt the issue coming on for about 5 days prior to it happening on lawn day. I had been waking up each day feeling stiff and sore. I had trouble getting out of bed during each of those days. That is always a sign that it is going to get worse because I have been through this many times in my adult life. But I didn’t heed the warning, and I pushed myself too hard. Sometimes I can keep it from happening in full scale if I take things easy, but I didn’t do that this time.
I found a great place where two chiropractors work. My appointment with one of them went well and I was hopeful that things would get back to normal as a result. The next week, I went back for a second appointment, but needed to see the 2nd chiropractor since the guy I saw first was out on vacation. The 2nd guy was just as good as the first one. I was able to get back to work again after that 2nd visit!
