I work in retail, and working in retail is not that easy when you are 7 months pregnant. 8 hours a day on your swollen ankles and feet, with the extra weight of a large baby affecting your back legs and feet it’s really rough. I make sure that I go to see a chiropractor in San Diego for some extra help. This keeps me from needing to go see a doctor because the only thing a doctor could do for a person is to give them pain meds or tell them to abstain from all medications when they are pregnant. Since I don’t want to harm my unborn child, I choose to be safe.
My husband and I had been trying to have a baby for over eight years. I went through fertility treatments for the last 3 years, but none of it did any good. My husband was by my side the entire time. He gave me as much emotional support as he could. we never did find out why I was unable to get pregnant for so many years. So we kept trying and had hope. When I finally became pregnant, we were both elated. Because this may be my only chance to have a chil, I do whatever I need to do to make sure that I stay safe in order to have a healthy pregnancy.
The chiropractor that I go to has been really great with me. He is the one who has been instrumental in time because of the treatments that he gives me. I cannot afford to not work at this point. I said every little bit of money that I earned so that I can put it toward our future child. this baby means the world to me, and while I want to stay safe for the baby, I also try to remain as comfortable as possible during the pregnancy. Chiropractic treatment helps me with that. It also helps me to keep my anxiety levels down, which makes things easier for my husband, too.
